Ard Coffee Co.
Our StoryArd Coffee started with a simple frustration — great coffee at home, mediocre coffee everywhere else. We grew up knowing what good coffee tasted like, and kept running into the gap between that and what was actually being served at events, in cafes, at work. So we built the bridge ourself. ARD — Arabic for earth — is a Newark-born specialty coffee brand rooted in the Muslim community and built for everyone who's tired of settling. Every origin we carry, every cup we serve, goes back to that same question: why does it have to be bad?

Grown at 2,000m under ideal high-altitude conditions, the bean develops a clarity and complexity that's hard to find at this price point. A morning essential.
ZAHRA

Origin: Nariño, Colombia
Elevation: 1,900m
Process: Washed
Varietal: Pink Bourbon
Tasting Notes: Hibiscus, fruit, medium acidity, clean finish
Best For: Pour-over, Chemex, AeroPress
Pink Bourbon is a rare, naturally occurring varietal mutation found only in a small number of Colombian micro-farms — delicate to grow, uncommon to find, and worth the search. Zahra is named for what it is: something beautiful, refined, and quietly extraordinary. A floral, fruit-forward cup with hibiscus character, medium acidity, and a finish that cleans up completely and stays with you. Delicate without being fragile. Complex without being difficult. An exceptional pour-over and one of the most distinctive coffees in the lineup — for drinkers who want something genuinely rare.
History
Coffee originated in Ethiopia and was first brewed in Yemen in the 15th century before spreading rapidly through the Middle East, Europe, and eventually the world. By the 17th century, it had become a global commodity, with colonial powers cultivating it in places like Java, the Caribbean, and Brazil. Over time, coffee evolved from a rare luxury into a daily ritual, with the 20th century bringing instant coffee, global chains, and a renewed focus on quality through the third-wave coffee movement.
Ard Coffee Co began in 2023 as a wholesale provider with a bold mission: to deliver the best coffee no one’s ever had—crafted with unique flavor profiles and rare, exotic blends. Our passion for quality and innovation quickly expanded beyond wholesale, leading us to launch our own barista services and bring our signature brews directly to you.
